Music
Class Music is offered as a specialist program at Yangebup Primary for students in Years 1-6. The music program is aimed at making music enjoyable and engaging whilst teaching the rudiments to enhance and express creativity. Students have the opportunity to learn all aspects of music for an hour each week for one semester per year.

School Choir
Students in Years 4-6 are able to join the school choir, focusing to learn a large repertoire of songs in part, in harmony and include movement. The choir is given several opportunities during the year to perform at a range of in school and community events.

Instrumental Music
Selected students in Years 5 and 6 are given the opportunity to join the Instrumental Music School Services Program (IMSS) conducted by the instrumental teachers at our school. This specialist program currently offers Classical Guitar. Students in this program attend weekly group lessons during school time.

Private Piano Lessons
Individual private piano lessons are conducted by Perth Music Agency during school hours. Enrolment forms can be downloaded from their website or parents can contact the school office or Tash, the owner of Perth Music Agency, for further details.
